On her way out, the singer, who is in the midst of a bitter custody battle with fourth husband Michael Lockwood, indulged in a cigarette as she sat in the front seat of her car.

The outing marks a rare public appearance for Presley, who is still mourning the tragic loss of her 28-year-old son Benjamin Keough, who committed suicide on July 12 at her Calabasas mansion.

The mother-of-four has appeared to stay out of public view since, aside from the occasional court appearance for her drawn out divorce trial.  

Presley filed for divorce from guitarist Lockwood in 2016, after ten years of marriage.

While the lengthy legal separation was expected to be finalized in November, the two have continued to battle it out in court over their kids.  

On Tuesday Lockwood, 59, appeared in court as a judge heard his request for his estranged wife to pay his legal fees. Presley was not at the courthouse but tuned in via video link.

Last week, the rocker, who shares twin daughters with his estranged wife, was spotted arm-in-arm with his fiancée Stephanie Hobgood as they took their dog for a healthy morning hike in Los Angeles.

The guitarist was seen sporting a bushy gray beard, gym shorts and a tie dye top while stylist Stephanie looked sporty in pink leggings, a gray shirt and sneakers.

Earlier this month Presley had told the court she wished to 'move forward' with her life and officially cut ties with her estranged spouse.

She filed new court documents requesting that a judge officially declare her single - a somewhat common practice in long drawn out divorces - despite her ex's refusal to 'terminate their marriage.'

In the documents obtained by TMZ, she described a grim future for her relationship telling the court that there is no hope for the couple to reconcile.


She also expressed how she has been wanting to end her marriage since filing for divorce in June of 2016 but Lockwood 'refuses'.

Presley is now requesting a bifurcation, 'which means separating marital status from other divorce issues'.

If her request is granted she and Michael will both be deemed single in the eyes of the law while they hash out the details of their divorce.

Lisa Marie Presley is no stranger to tragedy. She was just 9 years old when her music legend father, Elvis, died of a heart attack.

She's been married and divorced four times and struggled with an addiction to painkillers. And last July, the unthinkable happened: Her 27-year-old son, Benjamin Keough, committed suicide at the family's Calabasas mansion.

"Those first few weeks were torture," says an OK! insider. "There were days she could barely get out of bed."

According to the insider, the fog is slowly starting to lift. The music scion, 53, who shares daughter Riley, 31, with Benjamin's father, Danny Keough, and 12-year-old twins Harper and Finley with her most recent ex-husband, Michael Lockwood, recently sold the California property, as well as an English manor she'd bought with Michael.

"Lisa Marie will never be over the loss of Benjamin, but she's learning to live with the pain and is looking forward to a fresh start," the insider reveals. "There's a lot she still wants to accomplish."

On her agenda: finally sharing her life story in a bombshell memoir. "She'll cover everything from her failed marriages to the truth behind her escape from Scientology, plus how she blew through the $100 million fortune she inherited from her dad. Now that Lisa Marie has come out of hiding, she wants to set the record straight," spills the insider, who says she's already signed a $4 million book deal.

"Lisa Marie always shied away from the spotlight, but she realizes it's not doing her much good to keep quiet any longer. There's so much she has to share."

Soon after Elvis' 1977 death, Lisa Marie's actress mom Priscilla joined the Church of Scientology. Lisa Marie remained a member for more than 30 years, but the insider says she was "unhappy" within the confines of the controversial church.

"Her experiences still haunt her to this day," shares the insider. "There are whispers she went through hours of auditing where she was questioned about the most traumatic moments in her life, including her dad's death."

By the time she was a teen, Lisa Marie had turned to drugs to numb her pain, and the insider says Priscilla would drop her off at the Scientology center when she was too much to handle.

"I was the typical mother who wasn't looking for the signs," Priscilla confessed in a 1988 interview. "You don't want to believe your 14-year-old daughter is on something."

When Lisa Marie wed non-Scientologist Michael in 2006, she began to pull away from the church and made her break around 2012. "I was slowly starting to self-destruct," she said. "They were taking my soul, my money, my everything."

By then, the songwriter was struggling financially. As the sole heir to Elvis' estate, Lisa Marie had inherited an estimated $100 million and Graceland, her father's sprawling Tennessee mansion. But in 2018, she sued her former business manager, Barry Siegel, claiming his "negligent mismanagement" left her $16.7 million in debt.

He hit back, insisting Lisa Marie's reckless spending was the real problem. "It's true that she loved to live the high life," says the insider. "Family vacations in Hawaii, the English estate, and then there's all the gourmet food, fine wine and jewelry. It adds up."

Legal bills also cost her big. After filing for divorce from Michael in 2016, she battled the musician for custody of the twins, and the insider says the price tag "was staggering."

Her love life has been filled with highs and lows. She was 20 when she wed Danny in 1988. "Lisa Marie was too young to know what marriage was about," says the insider. "She loved him, but also wanted to get away from her mother's control."

Just 20 days after their divorce, she said "I do" to late pop icon Michael Jackson. "Lisa Marie says despite all the hype surrounding them, their love was real," dishes the insider. "She says she didn't realize how troubled he was until several months into their marriage."

Next came Nicolas Cage. She was married to the actor (and Elvis superfan) from 2002-2004. "He could sweep her off her feet one minute then cut her down the next," says the insider. "Nic was obsessed with Elvis, but there were things about Lisa Marie that clouded that perfect vision he had of his daughter — like her temper. They pushed each other's buttons."

She thought she'd found the one with rocker Michael, but they called it quits after 10 years. The feuding exes battled it out in court over their daughters but finally came to a truce last December when Lisa Marie was granted joint custody of Harper and Finley. Now, her focus is on her daughters and healing.

"She's overcome her addiction problem and just wants to be a good mom to her girls," explains the insider, who says the writing process has been cathartic for the star. "Doing this tell-all is helping Lisa Marie put all the turmoil she went through in her past to bed."

After months of tears and trauma, Lisa Marie decided to let go of the 5-bedroom, 3,600-square-foot Calabasas spread where son Benjamin shot himself. She sold it for $2 million in an off-market deal earlier this month.

"Lisa Marie didn't want the house anymore, not with the memory of Benjamin's death in every room. It was too painful," shares an insider, adding that she's looking for a new place for herself and her young girls around Los Angeles. "She's been eyeing the Pacific Palisades, Brentwood and Beverly Hills."

Of course, no matter where she goes, she'll keep memories of Benjamin close. "She has photos of him, some personal items and other mementos," says the insider. "And this summer, she's planning on traveling to Graceland to lay flowers at Benjamin's gravesite. It won't be a big, fancy affair, just something low-key for the family.

Lisa Marie Presley and Danny Keough have been spotted in public together for the first time since they reportedly started living with each other in the wake of their son’s death.
Lisa Marie Presley, 52, and her ex-husband Danny Keough, 55, have been photographed together for the first time since they reportedly moved in together. The photos, which were taken on May 7, come 10 months after the tragic death of their 27-year-old son Benjamin, who died by suicide. Lisa, the daughter of the late Elvis Presley, wore a black Adidas hoodie with matching black pants, and Ugg boots as she arrived at the airport with her ex. She also donned blue-tinted aviator sunglasses and carried a black Chanel handbag.


Danny cut an equally casual figure in a navy blue hoodie, green cargo pants, and beige slides with socks. His salt and pepper hair was visible underneath a blue baseball cap, as he accessorized with dark shades and carried a black tote bag. The photos come less than one month after the pair, who divorced in 1994 following six years of marriage, were believed to have started living together. UK newspaper The Sun reported that Danny moved into Lisa’s home in Los Angeles, where she lives with her 12-year-old twins from a previous marriage, Finley and Harper Lockwood.

The couple were brought together by tragedy in 2020, when their son Ben died by suicide. Lisa Marie released a heartbreaking statement via her rep, Roger Widynowski, to HollywoodLife at the time, “[Lisa Marie] is completely heartbroken, inconsolable, and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley [Keough]. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.”


Sources told The Sun that Danny and Lisa Marie were finding comfort in each other’s company, as they mourned an irreplaceable loss. “Danny has moved around a lot in the past but came back to be by Lisa’s side immediately when they were left devastated by Ben’s death,” the source said, stressing there was nothing romantic to the arrangement. “They are now living with family at a new house in Calabasas and have been grieving together.”


The source continued, “It’s been an extraordinarily difficult time and he’s been a rock for Lisa.” Over the years, Lisa Marie had nothing but compliments for her former partner, who has maintained a low profile since their divorce in the 90s. “He’s my absolute best friend in the world,” she said in a 2003 Rolling Stone interview. “The smartest thing I’ve ever done is have children with this man because I knew this is the one man I could be connected to for the rest of my life.”

Ghislaine Maxwell, Lisa Marie Presley among New York’s worst tax deadbeats

Ghislaine Maxwell owes over $1 million in taxes, according to data.

Ghislaine Maxwell isn’t just an alleged sex trafficker — she’s also a major tax deadbeat.

The disgraced socialite, who is accused of serving as Jeffrey Epstein’s madam, is one of the worst income tax scofflaws in New York state — owing $1,520,558.84, according to a warrant filed by the Tax Department.

The alleged pedo procurer is awaiting criminal trial for allegedly recruiting underage girls for Epstein to abuse in the 1990s and early 2000s. She is number 47 on the state Tax Department’s list of top individual tax delinquents.

Maxwell is locked up in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

She pleaded not guilty in April and has appealed five times to be released from jail pending trial — but has been rejected each time.

She is not alone in having a trail of tax arrears.

Lisa Marie Presley, the singer-songwriter and only child of the late famed crooner Elvis Presley, owes $636,950.33 in back income taxes — putting her at No. 177 on the list.

The younger Presley, now 53, was famously married to pop superstar Michael Jackson from 1994 to 1996.

The tax warrant won’t bring the “Memories” or “Peace in the Valley” her dad, Elvis, crooned about.

Disgraced “Taxi King” Eugene Freidman, meanwhile, retained the No. 1 spot on the tax cheat list for the second year in a row.

Freidman was sentenced in 2019 to five years’ probation after he admitted to engaging in tax fraud and agreed to cooperate in the federal probe of President Trump’s ex-attorney Michael Cohen. He owes the state $18.7 million, the Tax Department said.

Rounding out the top 5 tax cheats are Anthony J. Frascone, Jr., Anthony P. Frascone, Frederick Goldring and Gary B. Flom. The five men owe a combined $44 million.

Lisa Marie Presley’s Ex-Husband Requests Child Support In Ongoing Divorce

Lisa Marie Presley is still at war with her ex-husband, Michael Lockwood, over finances in their ongoing divorce. Now, the musician is asking for monthly child support.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Elvis Presley’s daughter is being dragged back to court by her ex-husband claiming she makes plenty of money from her father’s estate and should pay a portion to him for child support. In the filing, Lockwood says the two enjoyed a lavish lifestyle while together — and their children still live that way while they are with Presley.


But, Presley’s ex says she should be ponying up a portion of her money every month to support the children while they are with their father — and live a similar lifestyle.

“Presley has significant income for purposes of a child support calculation, due to continuing and recurring distributions Presley receives from her trust(s) and from the significant assets including her family business. Presley’s father was Elvis Presley, a world-famous entertainer and one of the most successful people in show business history. Presley is Elvis’ sole heir and as such is an owner of Graceland and interests in Elvis’ recordings, songs, merchandise rights, and life story rights,” he says in the filing.

In the documents, Lockwood lays out an amount that should be paid based on the yearly income from the Elvis estate. If the amount is $20 million a year — he says $61,463 a month should go to him. If the amount is $10 million, he is entitled to $30,991 and so on.

Interestingly, Lockwood says the ex-couple lived primarily off of Lisa Marie’s Elvis money during their marriage and says neither of them made any money on their own. “In fact, both Presley and Lockwood earned very minimal income throughout their marriage, however as set forth in Lockwood’s declaration, the Parties lived what can conservatively be considered a very extravagant lifestyle. Their monthly expenses averaged at least $IOO‚OOO per month, and the Parties received funds from Presley’s family business (either directly or by way of payments made on the Parties’ behalf), and distributions from Presley’s trust(s) as well as family gifts, which allowed the Parties’ extravagant lifestyle,” the filing reads.

Lisa Marie Presley Reportedly Makes Huge Elvis Money!

In the documents, Lockwood points out that Graceland is opening back up following the COVID-19 pandemic and Presley continues to receive funds from the family business. The musician points out that Presley’s financial situation is good enough, she recently made an offer on a home in Malibu, CA — which was over $4 million.

As we’ve reported, this divorce has been NASTY, with brutal allegations flying back and forth. In the filing, Lockwood claims the allegations, in this case, have made it hard for him to get work in the music business. Michael claims Elvis’ daughter attempted to alienate him from the couple’s 11-year old twins and partially blames her association with the Church of Scientology.

The decision is in the hands of a judge, and the ex-couple will eventually face off in court over the child support issue.

Lisa Marie Presley’s Ex-Husband Michael Lockwood Demands Her $4 Million Book Contract, Tax Returns In Bitter Divorce


Lisa Marie Presley’s ex-husband Michael Lockwood is accusing her of demanding celebrity treatment in court – and he wants the judge to shut her down.

According to court documents obtained by Radar, Lockwood is objecting to 53-year-old Presley being allowed to seal documents filed in their bitter divorce.

She argues the information contained in the records is confidential and the public has no right to view them. The couple has been fighting in court for years.

Presley filed for divorce from Lockwood in 2016 after 10 years of marriage. The couple share two kids, Finley and Harper.

At the time the case was filed, Presley was experiencing a ton of financial issues and was drowning in $16 million debt. She accused her former business manager of mismanaging her money — a claim the manager denied. However, it appears her finances are starting to come back around.

60-year-old Lockwood took notice and went back to court recently asking the judge to award him child support. He claims to be working low-paying jobs as a musician and unable to live the life he enjoyed while married to Presley.

Lockwood said in financial documents he is only making hundreds of dollars per month while Presley makes an estimated $238k every month.

In October, Presley was ordered to pay temporary monthly child support in the amount of $4,500.

Now, Lockwood’s attorney filed a declaration trashing Presley over her attempt to seal certain filings. “The public has a right to see everyone treated the same way in court and have equal access to court,” his attorney argues.

“In addition, as [Lisa’s] counsel put it in our last hearing, [Lisa] is a supposed “public figure” which is more reason why the public should be able to view the case record so that it is known that this is no star chamber proceeding and that just because [Lisa] is Elvis’ daughter, she isn’t treated any differently than anyone else in Court."

Lockwood also accuses Presley of delaying the case. He believes his ex would rather pay her lawyers to keep her affairs unjustifiably private than paying her ex-husband a reasonable child support payment for the care of their children, after depriving him of reasonable access to his twin daughters for years based on false accusations.”

Lisa Marie Presley is fighting with her ex-husband Michael Lockwood over her appearance in court.

According to court documents obtained by Radar, Lockwood is asking the judge presiding over their bitter divorce for help.

Presley filed for divorce in 2016 after 10 years of marriage. The former couple share two kids, Finley and Harper. Lockwood has not seen a ton of financial support from Presley due to her having had a ton of debt.

Lockwood appears to believe she has pulled herself out of the hole and is actually making a good amount of money now — and he wants his cut.

In October, the judge ordered Presley to pay Lockwood $4,500 a month in child support. Lockwood believes his ex is pulling in nearly $250k per month.


In newly filed documents, Lockwood’s attorney make the case for Presley to provide live testimony at the hearing scheduled for next week.

However, Presley is unwilling to stipulate that Lisa made a certain amount as income for the years 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.

Further, Lockwood says his ex handed over her book contract, but it is heavily redacted.

He claims Presley was paid a $1 million book advance in 2020. Lockwood wants to grill her about this in court. In court docs, he also states Presley likely received $1.2 million on her trust transfers from the Elvis estate.


“At a minimum in 2020 Petitioner made $1.2 million on her trust transfers and almost $1 million in a book advancement. How the book advancement was treated, tax-wise, is unknown,” the filing reads.

The judge has yet to rule on whether Presley will have to testify in court.

In response, Lockwood’s lawyer said his client’s ex-lawyer had refused to turn over important files. As a result, she said they have had to ask Presley to turn over additional documents.

In 2020, Lockwood told the court he had a “new and significant concern” Presley would relapse on drugs and alcohol following her son Benjamin Keough committing suicide.

At the time, he demanded his ex-wife be stripped of custody of their two daughters. In court documents, his lawyer wrote, “Lisa Marie Presley’s son shot and killed himself in her home (Although she was not there at the time.) With all due sympathy and respect, this creates a new and unaddressed twofold problem: the safety of the children and the greater likelihood of LMP to relapse into drug and alcohol dependency.”


“There is a greater possibility that the children might think about suicide or attempt it, in light of their half brother’s suicide,” he said.

Lockwood was concerned about Presley relapsing once again writing, “In light of such a tragic and devastating event, it would not be surprising for (LMP) to relapse into drug or alcohol use despite her alleged three years sober. The death of a child is among life’s most traumatic events.”

In court docs, Lockwood also revealed Presley had been in rehab facilities “at least five times and attended outpatient rehabilitation until 2018.”

A judge has yet to rule on Lockwood’s plea for support.

Lisa Marie Presley and her ex-husband Michael Lockwood are set to prepare for a nasty court showdown later this year over child support for their two children.

According to court documents obtained by Radar, Elvis' only child and her struggling musician ex both appeared for a court hearing this week. Lockwood was in court while Presley used a video conference link instead.

The judge heard arguments from both parties and then set a trial date for December 8 and 9. Lockwood and Presley were instructed to submit witness lists for who they plan on calling to testify.

Last year, Lockwood dragged Presley back to court over support for Harper and Finley. The two were married from 2006 until 2016.

The prenuptial agreement they signed before getting hitched said Lockwood would not receive spousal support in the event of a split. At the time, Presley was not ordered to pay child support due to her own financial issues.

In the past, Presley dealt with a $10 million tax debt and she also fought her ex-business manager Barry Siegel in court. She accused him of squandering her $100 million fortune. He denied the accusations and blamed Lisa Marie's excessive spending as the reason for her money woes.

In court documents, Lockwood said Presley's finances had improved and he needed money. He said he only pulls in $2,500 a month in income and lives with his mother and girlfriend.

Lockwood said Presley pulls in around $238k a month from the Elvis estate or around $3 million a year. He also believes his ex was paid $1 million for her memoir along with a nice chunk of change off the upcoming Elvis biopic starring Austin Butler.

In court, he also revealed Presley controls a trust set up by her father worth $65 million.

"Presley has significant income for purposes of a child support calculation, due to continuing and recurring distributions Presley receives from her trust(s) and from the significant assets including her family business," his lawyer wrote. "Presley’s father was Elvis Presley, a world-famous entertainer and one of the most successful people in show business history. Presley is Elvis’ sole heir and as such is an owner of Graceland and interests in Elvis’ recordings, songs, merchandise rights, and life story rights."

Last year, the judge ordered Presley to pay temporary monthly child support in the amount of $4,600. Lockwood now wants that to be increased based on his ex-wife's income.

Elvis' only child revealed last month on Instagram she is still dealing with her son Benjamin's suicide in 2020.

"I haven’t posted in quite some time because there really isn’t much to say, as I am and will forever be mourning the loss of my son. Navigating through this hideous grief that absolutely destroyed and shattered my heart and my soul into almost nothing has swallowed me whole," she explained.

Lisa Marie Presley Makes a Rare Appearance as She Leads Three Generations at Elvis Premiere

Along with daughter Riley Keough and mother Priscilla Presley, the daughter of the late King of Rock and Roll made a three-generation appearance Saturday at the Graceland premiere of Baz Luhrmann's Elvis in Memphis, Tenn.

"We're so thrilled to be in Memphis with @elvismovie and with all of the wonderful performers, @austinbutler @olivia_dejonge @kelvharrjr and Tom Hanks have all done outstanding work," Keough, 33, wrote on Instagram. "Thank you to @bazluhrmann for bringing the film to Graceland. It's been such a special weekend, I couldn't think of a better place to Premiere ELVIS in America."

The trio dazzled in matching black ensembles as they hit the red carpet, celebrating the biopic about their family's widely-beloved patriarch.

For Lisa Marie, 54, the occasion marked her first red carpet appearance since losing her son Benjamin Keough, who died by suicide at age 27 in July 2020. He was later laid to rest in Meditation Garden at Graceland, his famous grandfather's former residence.


"She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley," Lisa Marie's rep told PEOPLE after her son's death. "She adored that boy. He was the love of her life."

Lisa Marie previously raved about the movie after seeing a screening with her family, noting that Benjamin "would have absolutely loved it."

"What moved me to tears as well was watching Riley and Harper and Finley afterwards, all 3 visibly overwhelmed in the best way possible way, and so filled with pride about their grandfather and his legacy in a way that I have not previously experienced," she wrote at the time. "It breaks my heart that my son isn't here to see it. He would have absolutely loved it as well."

The Storm & Grace artist shares Riley and Benjamin with ex-husband Danny Keough, and she co-parents 13-year-old twin daughters Finley Aaron Love and Harper Vivienne Anne with Michael Lockwood, with whom her divorce was finalized last May.

See Baz Luhrmann's Elvis, premiering June 24 in theaters and 45 days later on HBO Max.

Michael Lockwood went back to court last year demanding Lisa Marie be ordered to pay. He said he was struggling to pay his bills while she was off living the high life.

In his declaration, Michael said he was struggling to pay his bills while living with his mother.

The two divorced in 2016 but no child support was ever entered because Lisa Marie had financial problems at the time. Michael said those problems are over and he wants a cut.

Recently, a judge ordered Lisa Marie to temporarily pay child support of $4,500 until a trial in December when the matter will be decided.

In Lisa Marie’s response, Elvis’ daughter fought the request for support. She said it would be “improper” to order her to have to pay retroactive child support to the 2016 divorce date.

Lisa Marie said her ex-husband’s motion sounds like a plea for spousal support — which she points out he is not entitled to per their prenup.

She said it would be “an abuse of this Court’s discretion to make a child support award retroactive 5 years when [Michael] has had minimal custody, and the children’s financial needs have been met entirely by [Lisa Marie.]"

In court documents, she revealed her monthly income is around $100k. However, the monthly check from her father’s estate is an advance. At the end of the year, the estate pays out profits to members with interest.

Lisa Marie said if the amount she is owed is less than what she was paid out during the year from advances, then she owes the estate money.

Lisa Marie said her ex-husband’s suggestion she could sell inventory from Graceland “is absolutely false. The Graceland businesses have full right to possess the items at Graceland.”

Elvis’ daughter also said she wants her ex-husband’s finances inspected. She said his $200 per month in income raises questions.

Her lawyer wrote, “He provides no evidence that he has either not been working or looked for work. He blames [Lisa Marie] for his alleged lack of income, without providing a scintilla of evidence to suggest that he has been unable to obtain work due to anything but a lack of trying.”

Lisa Marie said she agrees to pay child support and even have it retroactive to September 2021 but not 2016.

Lisa Marie Presley and Riley Keough are opening up about the layered feelings Baz Luhrmann's Elvis is bringing up in their family.

In a preview of their sit-down with ABC News' Chris Connelly from Exclusively Elvis: A Special Edition of 20/20, airing in full Tuesday night, the mother-daughter duo raved about the upcoming drama, starring Austin Butler as Lisa Marie's father and Keough's grandfather, the late Elvis Presley.

"And Riley, 5 minutes in, was already like, 'I'm done.' She was already crying and I was crying," she added.

Said actress and filmmaker Keough, 33, "It was really intense. As a film, it's just an exceptional film."


Lisa Marie and her daughter's comments come days after GMA aired an interview with Priscilla Presley about the movie. Priscilla, 77, was joined by Olivia DeJonge, who plays her in Elvis, to talk about the experience of watching her life unfold on screen.

"I'm sitting there watching this movie and going, 'God, I wish he could see this,' " Priscilla said of the film and how she thinks her late ex-husband would react to it. "It was perfection."

The pair talked about a moment in the movie when Priscilla asks Elvis to go seek treatment for his "drug dependency," with Priscilla saying the scene brought back "memories."

"It was getting more and more frightening as time went by where he just was like, rebelling," she recalled.


Priscilla also praised 30-year-old Butler's performance as the late rock-and-roller, who died in 1977.

"Austin was just unbelievable," she said. "As I was watching it, actually, I was going, 'Wow, this is a movie that [Elvis] would have really loved.' Showing who he was, what he was striving for, what his dreams were."

Priscilla said that while it is "strange" to have someone playing her, she was happy with the performance given by DeJonge, 24.

"I'm so happy that she was sensitive and that she was caring and that she was a little strong with him as well, and you know, I thought she did a really, really nice job, I was pleasantly surprised," Priscilla admitted.

Exclusively Elvis: A Special Edition of 20/20 airs Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.

Elvis is in theaters Friday.

Lisa Marie Presley’s ex-husband Michael Lockwood revealed she dropped cash on having him followed by a team of private investigators — as part of his argument for monthly support.

Michael dropped the bombshell as part of a new court filing obtained by Radar. The struggling musician dragged his ex-back to court due to his belief she has enough money to pay him child support for their twins, Harper and Finley.


Lisa Marie filed for divorce in 2016 after a decade together. The couple signed a prenup that prevented Michael from seeking spousal support. At the time, Elvis’ daughter was experiencing financial issues — including a $10 million tax bill — that resulted in her not having to pay support.

During the divorce proceedings, in 2017, Lisa Marie also accused Michael of having inappropriate photos of children on his computer.

She said she was “shocked and horrified and sick to my stomach” after seeing the material. Lisa Marie said her ex had “hundreds of inappropriate photos of children and is facing allegations of sexual abuse and neglect.” Michael denied the allegations but both Los Angeles and Tennessee authorities investigated the matter.

No charges were ever brought against Michael.

Last year, Michael claimed Lisa was flush with cash after signing a $1 million book deal and for the money she’s pulling in from the Elvis biopic starring Austin Butler. A judge ended up awarding Michael temporary child support in the amount of $4,600 until a final decision is made later this year.

Both sides are gearing up for trial where Michael will argue for a hefty monthly check.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Michael wrote in a recent declaration, “I am struggling to survive and for the past year subsisted on little more than unemployment compensation and emergency relief compensation from the government,” he said. “During our marriage, [Lisa Marie] insisted that I refuse jobs with other artists and forced me to work exclusively with her as a musician.”

In his court documents, Michael said Lisa Marie pulls in around $3 million per year from the Elvis trust. He said she controls a trust set up by her late father worth around $65 million.

As part of his plea, Michael also argued Lisa Marie had enough extra cash to hire “private investigators to follow and surveil me.” He said if she has funds for substantial costs like a P.I. then she can pay monthly support.


Lisa Marie scoffed at Michael’s demand for an increase in support. She admits having signed a lucrative book deal and making money from the Elvis movie. However, in a September 2021 declaration, she also said she owes $2 million in taxes, $33k to American Express and $150k in various other debts.

The tax debt breakdown was listed as $1,011,239 to the IRS, another $505k to the State of California (for the years 2017 through 2019), and $625k for taxes to New York state (for the years 2015 through 2019).


In the filing, Lisa Marie also revealed she owed $200k to lawyers and another $200k to her assistant book writer.

She said her father’s estate pays her $100k but that is considered an advance. At the end of the year, if her stake in Elvis’ enterprises doesn’t pull in $1.2 million then she owes the difference.

The bitter exes will face off in September.

The witness list for the prosecution included Elvis’ daughter Lisa Marie Presley — who turned her back on the controversial religion in 2014 — and others who left, including “My Name Is Earl” star Jason Lee’s ex-wife Carmen Llywelyn, who has said she still has nightmares about the church.

Actress Brie Shaffer, the wife of actor Michael Peña and, at one time, Masterson’s personal assistant, is also on the prosecution list, according to website The Underground Bunker.

Actress Cheryl Ladd’s daughter, Jordan, and attorney to the stars Marty Singer also could be called to the stand.

Jury selection continued this week at Los Angeles Superior Court, attended by Masterson, 46, who appeared wearing a gray suit.

Masterson, a prominent Scientologist, is facing three charges of forcible rape over incidents that allegedly occurred between 2001 and 2003.

He faces a prison sentence of 45 years to life if convicted of all charges.

The three women who have accused Masterson of sexual assault took the stand during a preliminary hearing on May 2021 and also detailed how, they claim, church officials forced them into silence.

One of the three victims said Masterson raped her while she was unconscious. She claimed church leaders then told her to put in writing that she would take responsibility for the alleged 2001 assault.

Presley was speculated to be the “Lisa” referred to by Jane Doe 1 during her testimony at the preliminary hearing.

“My friend Lisa had someone named Luke who lived and worked with her who was close to Danny … Luke Watson,” Jane Doe 1 testified.

Watson and Presley had a romantic relationship and were part of a friendship group close to Masterson and Jane Doe 1, according to the Underground Bunker.

Jane Doe 1 claimed Masterson forcibly raped her on April 25, 2003. She testified she had been in a jacuzzi with Watson and Masterson when she felt sick and wanted to vomit, so Masterson took her into the house.

Jane Doe 1 then testified Masterson stuck his finger deep down her throat and helped her throw up before sexually assaulting her in a bathroom.

She said Masterson begged her to not tell anyone about the incident, including her friend “Lisa.”

While Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Charlaine Olmedo was adamant proceedings do not “become a trial on Scientology,” as a religion, the judge said she would allow some testimony about the group’s practices if it had played a role in delaying the accusers from reporting the alleged incidents to police.
