Dr. Arnie Klein -- Michael Jackson's famed dermatologist -- has just taken credit for fathering MJ's son Prince Jackson ... sort of.

Klein posted the cryptic picture on his Facebook profile yesterday, showing Prince side-by-side with an old photo of Klein when he was younger -- presumably to show the resemblance.

Under the photo, Klein wrote the caption, "hmmmmm" -- a wink at people who've been saying for years that Klein provided the sperm that fathered Prince and Paris.

You'll recall, Michael Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe gave birth to Prince in 1997, and daughter Paris the year after. MJ's third child Blanket was born to an anonymous surrogate in 2002.

Debbie was Arnie's medical assistant back when Michael was a patient -- but she's never spoken publicly about the identity of the father.

Arnie has previously denied being the dad, telling Diane Sawyer, "To the best of my knowledge, I am not the father of these children."

So we gotta ask ...

The fallen former dermatologist to Michael Jackson has invited speculation he is the biological father of the late King of Pop’s son Prince after contrasting an old photo of himself with an image of the youngster on Facebook.
Dr Arnie Klein, who has been mired in bankruptcy and financial woes in recent years, posted an old picture of himself beneath a photo of 15-year-old Prince Michael with the cryptic tag 'hmmmmm'.
The photo appears to be a wry nod to conspiracy theorists who have speculated for years that Klein donated his own sperm to help the late King of Pop start a family.


Jackson’s third child Blanket was born by an anonymous surrogate in 2002.
Rowe has never spoken publicly about the identity of the biological father of the children she bore Jackson.
However the eccentric Klein has previously gone on record to rule out any role in the parenting of Jackson’s children.
'To the best of my knowledge I am not the father of these children,' said Klein, who has fallen on hard times since the days when he boasted a celebrity clientele which included some of Hollywood’s biggest names.


Klein, who once counted Elizabeth Taylor, Cher and Dolly Parton amongst his clients, has been forced to offload multi-million-dollar properties in Los Angeles and Laguna Beach since filing for bankruptcy in 2011.
It is a far cry from the days when Klein owned a string of luxurious mansions stuffed with expensive art and celebrity memorabilia as well as a fleet of cars that included a Ferrari, a Bentley and a Rolls Royce. He also employed the services of a personal chef to cater to his every need.

In one three-year period Klein spent an estimated $7 million on personal luxury items including $800,000 on holidays alone, according to a report last year.
His continued ability to practice medicine has also come under the microscope, with authorities in California last year moving to revoke his license.
The California Medical Board filed a request to revoke Klein’s license on the grounds he had refused to submit to mental and physical examinations.
It followed a formal complaint against the doctor alleging substandard care of two unnamed patients
