Michael Jackson's daughter Paris insists on sleeping with one of his jackets on her pillow.
The late singer's mother Katherine Jackson - who is the guardian of her late son's children, Prince Michael, 14, Paris, 13, and 10-year-old 'Blanket', whose real name is Prince Michael II - has revealed the youngster wanted an item of clothing that her dad had worn and still smells like him because she doesn't want his scent to ever go away.
Katherine - who along with the kids lost Michael in June 2009 - said: "She took a pillow and one of his jackets, and said, 'I don't want a jacket that's been cleaned. I want something with his scent on it.' She put the jacket over the pillow and she breathes it. It's still there.
"She said, 'I don't ever want it cleaned. He's worn it and it smells of him and I don't ever want the smell to go away.' "
Katherine believes Michael's children will grow up to be "just like him", especially Paris, who insists on having her walls filled with pictures of her pop legend father.
She added to the Daily Mail newspaper: "They're doing OK. I'm doing OK. It's hard being a mother and losing your child. It shouldn't be that way round.
"Prince is a very good student. He's always saying, 'Grandma I got a 98 in my test.' It makes me happy to see them smile.
"They are all going to be like him, especially Paris. She has pictures of him hanging all over her wall.
"When I had a decorator come in who moved them, she put them all back. 'I want daddy hanging on the walls,' she said. I don't know how she could, but she does."

Michael Jackson's Son to Make First Solo Appearance

In his first solo foray into the limelight, Michael Jackson's eldest son, Prince Michael, will be in Berlin for a Nov. 10 auction in support of a cause dear to his late father's heart: helping disadvantaged kids.

The 14-year-old will be there for the sale of his dad's handwritten composition of the hit "Bad." All proceeds from the auction will go to the Tribute to Bambi foundation, which supports organizations in Germany that aid needy children.

"Prince Michael Jackson will walk the red carpet and present the manuscript on stage surrounded by children," a spokesperson for the event tells PEOPLE.

The teen is expected to arrive with an entourage but without relatives. "He won't be traveling alone," says a source close to the event, "but he won't have any family members with him."

In 2002, when he was 5, Prince Michael visited Berlin with his father, sister Paris and brother Blanket for the same event. (Staying at the Adlon Hotel on that occasion, Michael memorably dangled baby Blanket over the balcony before adoring fans.)

In previous auctions for the charity, Michael's glittery jacket and an autographed guitar went on the block, in in 2002 and 2009, respectively.

Those wishing to bid on the "Bad" manuscript may do so online between now and Nov. 10, at United Charity.

Asked to predict how much the manuscript might fetch, a spokeswoman laughed and said, "Hopefully, a whole lot!"

Prince Michael Jackson Pays Tribute to Dad in Germany






Prince Michael Jackson, 14, took the spotlight today in Germany -- where he paid tribute to his late father by attending a charity event in an outfit inspired by Michael himself.

Prince was photographed at a red carpet for the Tribute to Bambi foundation, where the handwritten composition of Michael Jackson's hit "Bad" will be auctioned off for charity.

The outfit Prince Michael was wearing today may look familiar -- Michael wore a similar black and red combo to the American Music Awards back in 1989, right down to the matching armband.

Michael was a supporter of Tribute to Bambi before his death in 2009. The foundation provides aid for disadvantaged children.

Those wishing to bid on "Bad" can do so online at United Charity's website between now and November 10.

Prince, Paris, and Blanket Jackson have created a self-imposed blackout of Conrad Murray's trial ... TMZ has learned.

Sources directly connected to the kids tell TMZ ... the Michael Jackson manslaughter trial is just too painful to relive -- especially for Prince and Paris, who witnessed the demise of their dad firsthand.

We're told Katherine is relieved the kids don't have the kind of curiosity that would drive them to the screen, especially after prosecutor David Walgren displayed the body of Michael Jackson in the first graphic during opening statements.

We're told Katherine was unhappy and disturbed the shocking photo was displayed at all.

It's unclear -- and unlikely -- the kids will be called as witnesses, but as we previously reported, Prince is willing to take the stand.

Jackson's kids to watch Cirque du Soleil tribute

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Michael Jackson's mother and his three children will be immersed in the pop icon's music, dance and imagery as they attend the premiere of Cirque du Soleil's "Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour" in Montreal, Canada, Sunday.
Katherine Jackson, who sat through four days of disturbing testimony in the trial of the doctor charged in her son's death, agreed with the Michael Jackson estate and Cirque du Soleil just this past week to attend the opening performance this weekend, according to a source close to the Jackson family.
The agreement is a sign Katherine Jackson and the men who now control her son's estate as executors have reached an understanding that should ease the tensions that erupted in probate court soon after Michael Jackson's death in 2009, the source said.
Jackson's mother waged a legal challenge against lawyer John Branca and music executive John McClain, who were named as executors in her son's will, but dropped it several months later. Relations between the Jackson family and the estate have been tense from that beginning.
How Jackson family is coping
The trip, which includes Prince, Paris and Blanket Jackson, will not end until October 9 when they return to Los Angeles following the Michael Forever Tribute show in Cardiff, Wales, next Saturday, the source said.
With several of Michael Jackson's brothers and sisters also traveling to the Wales concert, most of the Jackson family's eight seats in Dr. Conrad Murray's trial will likely go empty until next week.
Jackson's children never saw their father perform live on stage, but the Cirque du Soleil show promises for two hours to "capture the essence, soul and inspiration of the King of Pop, celebrating a legacy that continues to transcend generations."
The road tour will reach at least 47 cities in the United States and Canada over the next year.
The circus company, legendary for its creative and acrobatic performances, first talked to Jackson seven years ago about the possibility of a Jackson-themed show, Cirque's president said when the agreement with his estate was announced in April 2010. The estate and Cirque du Soleil are equal partners.
The MGM Mirage has signed on to host the Las Vegas, Nevada, residency starting in 2012. The hotel also will open a nightclub based on the Jackson show, the hotel said.

Michael Jackson's three children have been the guests of honour at a UK concert in memory of the superstar.
Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket took to the stage in front of an audience of 50,000 for the Michael Jackson Forever concert at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
The children of the King of Pop, who died from a drug overdose at the age of 50 on June 25 2009, introduced a performance by Beyonce, who appeared via videolink from the United States to play the Jackson Five hit I Wanna Be Where You Are.
As they stood on stage, dressed as various incarnations of their father's stage persona, they were greeted by tumultuous applause.
Blanket, the youngest child, looked stunned by the noise and the lights but the elder two looked at ease on the stage.
Introducing Beyonce, Paris said: "She is always pushing the envelope with her boundless energy and talent.
"She carries the torch lit by our father and it gives me great pleasure to introduce this woman."
Later they took to the stage, alongside all the stars who performed on the night, to end the concert with a performance of Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough.
Paris and Prince Michael joined in with the singing although Blanket again looked uneasy on stage, standing motionless with his hands in his pockets.
Beyonce, who wore her hair in a Jackson Five-style afro, revealed that the song she sang was the first song she performed with her former group Destiny's Child.

Backstage at Saturday's Michael Forever tribute concert at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium, Blanket Jackson, 9, was a dancing machine.

"Blanket was dancing and spinning – and it was like an exact Michael Jackson dance," says a source who was backstage at the show and saw all of Jackson's children, including Prince, 14, and Paris, 13, hanging out.

"All three of the kids were in one of the little quick change rooms backstage," the source continues, "but Blanket was dancing on his own."

Typically shy, Blanket looked like "he was happy," says the source, who adds: "The kids were watching him and joking around."

Her father would be proud ... don't forget MJ performed that LEGENDARY halftime show at Super Bowl XVII back in 1993.

Michael Jackson's 13-year-old football playing daughter is being recruited to be the face of an organization that swears it's helping break down barriers for women ... problem is, it's the Lingerie Football League.

TMZ has learned ... the LFL took notice when Paris Jackson became the first female in her L.A. private school to join the flag football team earlier this month ... and fired off a letter to the MJ Estate in the hopes PJ would be the spokesperson for the league's "youth program."

In the letter, obtained by TMZ, LFL Commissioner Mitchell S. Mortaza acknowledges a "lack of options for competitive female football" ... and says the league will "be introducing youth clinics across the country to introduce the game of football to young ladies at an earlier stage in life."

Mortaza adds, "We ... would like to invite Paris to become the spokesperson for the LFL's youth program and perhaps start training for a future football career in the LFL when she reaches the age of 18."

Mitchell makes a good point about the lack of football options for girls, but is a league that parades adult women around in their underwear really the right fit for mentoring KIDS????

Michael Jackson's mother Katherine Jackson has ruled out the singer's eldest son, Prince, taking the stand at the involuntary manslaughter trial of Dr. Conrad Murray.

Katherine Jackson - mother of the later 'Thriller' singer and guardian of his three children, Prince, Paris, 13, and 'Blanket', nine - has ruled out the 14 year old testifying at the trial of the singer's personal physician, who is accused of involuntary manslaughter relating to his 2009 death from acute Propofol intoxication.
Katherine told CNN she wouldn't even discuss the possibility of any of Michael's children appearing at the trial in front of prosecutors.
Earlier in the trial, Michael's head of security, Faheem Muhammad, had said Paris was "balled up crying" as Dr. Conrad Murray tried to resuscitate the star on the morning of his death, and that Prince and Prince were just outside his room.
He told the court: "Paris was on the ground balled up crying and Prince was standing there. He just had a shocked, slightly crying look on his face."
Dr. Murray had also told police he had comforted the children in the emergency room after they learned their father was dead.
He said: "I hugged them all, gave comfort to Paris, comfort to Prince, comfort to 'Blanket', which is the last little guy, because whenever they were sick, they would always ask for Dr. Conrad."
However, a family member Jackson, who was with the children that day, has claimed Prince denies Murray's claim.
The prosecution are expected to resume their case later today (19.10.11), calling a final witness, who has had to take time away from the trial due to a death in the family.
On Friday (21.10.11) the defence is expected to call the first of its 15 witnesses to the stand calling police detectives who have not yet testified, character witnesses and experts.
Dr. Murray had pleaded not guilty and, if convicted, faces up to four years in prison.

Michael Jackson's daughter is in love with Chris Brown ... and last night at his L.A. concert, the singer made sure the King of Pop's little girl got nothing short of the royal treatment.

Sources close to Brown tell TMZ ... once Chris learned Jackson would be attending the show, he invited Paris to the pre-show soundcheck ... where he greeted her with a giant, friendly hug.

After the warm up, Jackson made her way to her front row seat with some of her friends ... and rocked out to the sold-out show ... along with a ton of other stars including Jamie Foxx, Damon Wayans, Sean Kingston and Kendall Jenner.

It's good to be The King ...'s kid.

It was feared that a live video link performance by Chris Brown at Michael Jackson's tribute concert would put a 'negative slant' on the day.
But at least one member of the Jackson family is a fan of his and she showed her love for the R&B star at his concert last night.
Paris Jackson, the daughter of the late superstar, was snapped in the front row of his Los Angeles concert yesterday, screaming his name and singing and dancing along to his set.

And at one point, she threw her arms in the air and made a heart shape with her hands as she directed her love towards the singer.
She screamed and sang along to Brown's songs as he gyrated and strutted his stuff on the stage right in front of her, and much to her delight.
Wearing a blue baseball cap with an Egyptian pharaoh print on the front, the smile never left Paris's face as she soaked up the atmosphere of the concert.

Katherine Jackson is furious after the Lingerie Football League approached her granddaughter Paris to be a spokesman for the company's fledgling youth programme.

The organisation, which sees women play in their underwear, approached Michael Jackson's 13-year-old daughter Paris, which sent her guardian, grandmother Katherine into a rage.
A family insider told RadarOnline: 'Katherine views this as a disgusting attack on a minor.
'A teenage spokeswoman for a lingerie league? That's just creepy and downright offensive.





Katherine is the matriarch of the Jackson clan, and is the custodian of Jackson's three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket.
The offer followed news Paris became the first girl in her exclusive private Los Angeles school's history to get the call-up for the flag football team, a light football practised in schools.


In the letter, he wrote: '(The person signing up for the position) will be introducing youth clinics across the country to introduce the game of football to young ladies at an earlier stage in life.
'We would like to invite Paris to become the spokesperson for the LFL's youth programme and perhaps start training for a future football career in the LFL when she reaches the age of 18.'
The Lingerie Football League is a women's seven-on-seven tackle American football league created in 2009.
The concept originated from the Super Bowl halftime alternative television special called the Lingerie Bowl.


It draws millions of viewers as a pay-per-view event broadcast annually directly opposite the Super Bowl halftime show.
It has become a staple of Super Bowl Sunday festivities for millions worldwide and is broadcast in over 85 countries.
On the league's website they actually mention Paris by name when detailing their hopes to make 'tackle football' available to young ladies around the country.

Michael Jackson's daughter Paris is the first female to join her private school's flag football team in Los Angeles. We spotted her playing while her brothers Prince and Blanket cheered her on yesterday.

The commissioner of the Lingerie Football League (LFL) even asked the 13 year old to be the organization's youth spokesperson. We're not sure how appropriate that is.

The LFL wants her to consider training for a future football career in the league when she reaches age 18.
